A Sales Support Coordinator is required to support the work of the sales team and thereby increase productivity. The role will also work closely with the Operational team to ensure space is managed to its maximum effective capacity and additional revenue opportunities are enhanced.

Responsibilities/duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing all Sales Orders via Salesforce, our CRM
  • Actively engage with the Sales, Finance, IT, Operations and Event Management teams on a day to day basis
  • Allocating incoming leads to the Sales Team – leads will come in the form of telephone and email enquiries
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team as required
  • Responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the administrative functions within the department leaving the sales team to focus on client contact time and sales.
  • To control our space reallocation system (Points List) based on clients previous spend
  • Booking meetings and making travel arrangements as required
  • Liaising with the Operations team to ensure accurate floor planning for all events
  • Preparation of standard presentation materials
  • Responding to client queries within a set response time
  • Keeping databases and other information sources up to date
  • Support Sales on-site at the events for rebooking
  • Ensuring Showplans data correlates to CRM and Operational data
  • Some travel may be required


The ideal person will be articulate, professional, a great communicator, extremely organised and pay particular attention to detail. This is a broad, interesting and challenging role that will give the right candidate exposure to an exciting events business with a respected and reputed company within the industry.

They will need to be or demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - can work effectively within a lively team
  • Experience in a Sales Support role, ideally in the telecommunications or events industry
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Proficiency in Excel an advantage
  • Knowledge of SalesForce is preferred
  • A methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional and enthusiastic
  • With ability to handle potentially challenging stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
